My back story is that I was diagnosed with CKD in 2010/11.
I did Peritoneal dialysis for 4 years before going onto HD. Three months later I was on the transplant list and three months later got the call for a kidney pancreas transplant at addenbrookes.
Was there a few weeks due to infections and also had rejection 6 months later. Always had a funny kidney after that then 2 years ago kidney gave up and started back on dialysis and here I am on list for a 2nd kidney, pancreas is OK.
